Yokonia Tembo is a Zambian national based in Lusaka, Zambia, currently serving as a Systems Developer at the University of Zambia’s Institute of Distance Education, where he has worked for over seven years.
With extensive experience in institutions of higher learning, Yokonia has developed and maintained digital systems that support academic and administrative functions at scale. His professional background provides him with a deep understanding of how technology intersects with education, infrastructure, digital freedoms and public systems.
At Sekotech, he leads the editorial direction, focusing on cybersecurity, emerging technologies, and digital trends across Namibia, Zambia, the SADC region, and beyond.
